Honey Hand Creme

1 oz beeswax
1 1/2 cups warmed distilled water
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 cups sweet almond oil
5 drops essential oil of choice

Place beeswax, oil and honey together over low heat and stir until they are all well combined. Remove from heat and pour into a blender (may also use a stick blender right in the pot). With the lid off, or through hole in lid, slowly add the water (a tablespoon at a time), beating together on the lowest setting you have. When it is all incorporated, blend on high for less than a minute. Add essential oils at this time. Pour into sterilized containers.

Beeswax Body Lotion

1 cup of aloe vera gel
1 teaspoon of pure vitamin E oil
1/3 cup of coconut oil
1/2 ounce of beeswax
3/4 cup of almond oil
Up to 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of essential oil or fragrance oil of your choice

Place aloe vera gel and vitamin E oil in a blender or food processor. Place coconut oil and beeswax in a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup, microwave on high for 30 second and stir. Repeat in ten second blocks until fully melted.
Stir in almond oil, reheating if necessary. Run blender at low to medium speed, then pour in melted oils in a thin stream. As the oils is blended in the cream will turn white. As soon as you have a mayonnaise-like consistency, stop motor, add essential oils and pulse blend. do not over blend Transfer cream to glass jars while still warm because it thickens quickly. *This is a modified recipe. The original recipe was found in the Winter 97 issue of Handcraft Illustrated Magazine. The article was written by Amy Jenner*

This recipe does not spoil easily without the aid of refrigeration.
Basic Moisturizing Lotion

3 oz. Sweet Almond Oil, Peach Kernel or Apricot Kernel Oil
1oz oz. Shea Butter, Mango or any other exotic butter
1oz oz. Vegetable Glycerin
6 Tbsp. Emulsifying Wax
16 oz. Distilled Water (room temperature)
Essential Oil/Fragrance Oil to taste
To prolong shelf life add a preservative like LiquaPar Optima, from 0.5-1%.

In a heat-safe measuring cup combine the oil, butter, vegetable glycerin, and emulsifying wax. Melt in the microwave (about 1 - 2 minutes). Measure water and put into a blender. Turn the blender on low and very slowly pour in the melted oil mixture. Your mixture should resemble a beautiful cream. Add essential/fragrance oils and preservative(optional)last, turning on the blender just enough to incorporate the oils. Pour into bottles/jars while still warm. The mixture will thicken more as it cools. Cap jars when completely cooled. If no preservative is used, store in the refrigerator to prolong its shelf life.

2 Ounces Glycerin
0.5 Ounces Lanolin

Heat the emulsifying wax, oil, lanolin and glycerin until wax is barely melted and cool to 110-120 degrees. Using a stick blender of mixer, slowly add distilled water and fragrance or essential oil until lotion consistancy, add preservative if desired, pour into bottles.

Goat Milk Lotion

1 1/2 T beeswax
2 T pumpkin seed oil
2 T palm oil
3 T sweet almond oil
1 T apricot oil
1 C warm goats milk or condensed goat milk
Essential oil/ Fragrance Oil to taste

Melt beeswax and palm oil together. Remove form heat. After melted, add the sweet almond, pumpkin seed and apricot oils. With a blender, slowly add the warm goat milk to oil/wax mixture. Add essential oil/fragrance oil as mixture begins to thicken. Beating until mixture thickens and cools. Since goat milk is used, I would recommend adding a preservative to extend shelf life.
