Shea Butter, Unrefined (Butyrospermum Parkii) Obtained from the seed of the Karite Tree. This shea butter is in its natural form, it has only has been filtered to remove particles. Unrefiend Shrea Butter retains all its natural properties. Has a smokey, nutty odor and ranges in color from yellow to a beige/green depending on region of origin. It is suitable for cosmetics, soaps and tioletries. Shea butter is best know for its moisturizing properties, and the trreatment of some skin disorders.
